It’d be bad enough if this was the act of a single, renegade priest. But this “Mass of Thanksgiving” was both concelebrated with 12 other priests and done with the knowledge (and presumably the approval) of Cardinal Archbishop Zuppi.
Since Cardinal Zuppi penned the preface to one of Fr. James Martin SJ’s more recent pro-gay books, I think His Eminence’s approval of this mess is a safe bet indeed.
It’s been rumored that Cardinal Zuppi is papabile whenever we see the next conclave. In a sane world this scandal would bury his chance to be Pope— but we no longer live in a sane world…
Clinton, you are so right..,I keep praying that when the next conclave occurs, the “God of surprises” Francis keeps babbling about will give the lavenders the surprise of their lives. We shall see. Unfortunately for us, God’s time is not our time. Remember, the Arian heresy was professed by many bishops for decades, and depending on whose history you read, it remained a serious issue for generations or even centuries. Arguably, it subsists in Modernism to this day.

At the link below we have a Calvinist Evangelical preacher man whom normally we Catholics would call a heretic doing the exactly opposite of what Catholic priests are doing. Matthew 3:7-10 applies:

When the Pope promotes sodomy, child murder (despite occasional orthodox comments), changes the words Jesus prayed, and directly contradicts previous Truths of the Church ( one could go on for ever), if a schism comes to Christ Church is it the Pope and his evil henchmen who are the schismatics, or us pewsitters who try to hold the ancient faith. I remember the words of Paul: “if even an angel……….”. Amiwrong, if so, please help direct me.
A cleansing is coming.
The filth will not stay long in God’s Holy Catholic Church. As the filth accumulates and agents are seen for what they are, the deep cleansing will fall upon Rome and it will not look good. It will be a shake up that hits to the core in every individual. An examination of conscience that will be life changing, life enrichment or in some sordid individuals, life ending.

I believe St. Athanasius is credited with having said, during his battle against the Arians, “They have the churches, but we have the Faith.” So it ever shall be.
