Hattip to commenter Greg Mockeridge. James Eugene Seals has passed away at age 80. Back in the seventies he and Darrell George “Dash” Crofts were the musical duo Seals and Crofts. In 1974 they recorded the pro-life song Unborn Child despite warnings it could kill their musical careers. Go here to read about it. In this Vale of Tears acts of principle and courage are as often punished as they are rewarded, but, as I hope Mr. Seals has learned, it is quite different in eternity.
Thanks for posting this, Don. I have thought for sometime what Seals and Crofts did by recording and releasing Unborn Child has gone largely unrecognized in the pro-life movement, with the exception of Texas Right to Life, for far too long.
