Now do baby formula. https://t.co/EoGRHx0Mbt

It’s as if he forgets that we were all alive at the time, which was just two years ago, but perhaps he is recalling what he has read about the Great Depression, and in his shattered mental state he can’t tell the difference. Of course, confusing fantasy with reality has ever been a Biden trait, but combined with everything else we have seen, dementia is likely the explanation. Yelling as a substitute for effective policy won’t solve the baby formula and other shortages, but that seems to be all the Puppetmasters’ Administration has.
Shameful. Praying for those parents unable to find formula for their babies.
Some of the supply chain trouble has been identified as a function of California emissions regulations which prohibited most of the truck traffic in and out of the state. Has anyone identified what the problem is with the baby formula? That’s not a product given to big demand spikes.
Considering the birth dearth of the past few years, there should be plenty of formula in storage. A demonstration of how fouled up the supply chains are.
Well, a formula shortage shouldn’t be a problem now that we know men can nurse. Right? /sarc off
Part of the shortage is the result of a recall by a major formula manufacturer that has yet to be resolved. In the meantime, it is now reported that the Regime is delivering pallets of formula to illegals being held in such custody as there is. BTW, there is legitimate info online on how to concoct homemade formula using evaporated milk. It was used routinely and recommended by pediatricians up through the 60s. One important thing, though, supplemental vitamins and iron must be given along with it for anything other than short-term use. Consulting a pediatrician would be the first thing to do.

The Abbott plant in Sturgis, Michigan. The best part? As of April, the FDA and CDC admitted they couldn’t match the bacteria involved to anything at the plant.
The FDA is allowing certain formula blends for sensitive infants to be shipped from the plant now, but it’s nowhere near enough.

A trick on the births question– the US has been holding fairly steady since the 60s, if you look at actual number of births. (we’re at about the early 50s, late 60s, early 80s, and a bit below the mid to late 90s)
It’s the estimated population of females of reproductive age that screws with the birth rate.
Now, since we have been getting immigrants this whole time, and still staying roughly steady, this isn’t as reassuring as it should be– but the way that the pols have suddenly noticed the whole “wait, what about when that leading edge of Boomers actually dies of old age” problem and still feel the need to spin folks up with dubious stats is kind of calming.
I’m pretty sure formula doesn’t last very long, though; I’d have to look at the container they sent me home with to make sure, we don’t really use it.
@Art Deco: The reason for the baby food formula shortage is simple: Putin ate all the baby food.
Surprised no one saw that..
