The hilarious thing about the above Seattle math curriculum is that it is promulgated in a city that is all of 6.8% black, proving, once again, that the main advocates for seeing everything, including math, through a racial prism are white Leftists. The bleak thing is that the students coming out of such a curriculum will know a lot about racial animus and virtually nothing about math. This of course is part of a national movement in education of race uber alles. This is not a mistaken movement but an evil one, dedicated to sowing racial division and ignorance.
Goes a long way to explaining why so many students entering college require remedial learning classes.
My sister lives in Seattle. Her response to the events of the last two years there is to pretend it isn’t happening. She also believes in ‘voter suppression’, because she saw a CNN report which showed a voter queue in Atlanta. The Democratic Party benefits from voters like this (and, since Washington state no longer provides for people to vote in person, can supplement their votes with ACORN phantoms).
