Indeed Christ is the centre of history. Not as a man but as God made Man. Whilst our Bishop lamented in his letter to the diocese that Wikipedia have removed the part about Christ resurrection, (and defined him as a “historical figure”), believers continue to come out in force. The Masses I went to were full. No body else but The Truth, The Way and The Light could unite people as Our Lord Jesus Christ continues to do. Nobody. God Bless you all.

I remember circa 1970, William Conrad read One Solitary Life on a TV Christmas Special. He was seated, of course, yet his profound basso gave him an immense presence. I was so moved by his reading. I’m glad LifeTeen is making this classic available to contemporary youth, but I’m saddened to hear it read in a dainty, airy male voice, often upstaged by what should be background music bursting into the foreground and all the busy busyness distracting from the words. I have not been able to find the Conrad version on YouTube, though his famous anti-littering commercial (The Crying Indian) is available, if you want to revisit that impressive voice. A holy, blessed Easter to all!

Or, if you prefer, BCE, before the Christ era, and CE, the Christ era (nothing common about Him).
