They wrecked the global economy over this. No way they are ever going to play this as anything other than Black Death: The Sequel.

This was a weird omission, to me. They’ve made slip ups before, but this is pretty brazen. Why admit it now?
They have a fully weaponized segment of the population whipped up into 1930’s Germany levels of hysteria. I do not see them giving that up, ever.
They were bound to make mistakes in handling this. What you’ve seen which is distressing is the politicization of everything, a function of the quality of human being we have in charge of institutions in this country, which is in turn a function of the quality of people in the professional-managerial class generally. And, as a consequence, they keep doubling down on stupid and they get more and more abusive.
If I recall this correctly
we, the government, give hospitals an incentive, monetarily, based upon Covid admissions…then they mistakenly use Covid as cause of death for many of the deaths that occurred?
What a mess.
Philip-
more evil.
A lot of places weren’t allowing not-going-to-die-right-now treatments of anything but COVID.
So a doctor that wanted to save someone’s life instead of bouncing them in and out of the ER until they expired would decide they had enough symptoms to be a “presumptive” COVID case.
Foxfier.
That is as black as it could get.
It’s so unimaginably ugly and dark.
Evil?
I had no idea.
With so much material, Desouza won’t find a moment to rest. Too bad for Michael Moore. He will go down in history as just another blunt tool in George Soros’ garage. A soon to be garage sale implement. A hoe.
Who’s version of history will have survived the 21st century?
What will be written about this era?
Better question. Who’s writing it?
OK, I’ll bite. Baier asked a dumb question. There’s no way she could know the answer, because that’s not how we keep the data, and we don’t want officials to make up numbers on the spot. Even his question was an either / or, as if someone who died from covid couldn’t have had comorbidities. We can all agree that the motorcycle accident victim who tested positive shouldn’t have been counted, but most of the cases were much more ambiguous. An 80-year-old smoker succumbing to respiratory failure? How do you count that? So yeah, she gave a nonsense answer, but it was to a nonsense question.

Evidently Pinky has never heard of a death certificate.
This looks like a good review of related issues:
