I don’t really know, since I don’t read Chinese and have no friends there. But I do know I would trust Ms. Dail before any number of faceless leftoids and bots on Twitter. Speaking of bots: fun fact (at least claimed to be fact by people like Andrew Chang)— the CCP runs thousands of bot accounts on all the major social media outlets. And they freaking OWN Tik-Tok, yet millions in putatively free countries subscribe to it. Amazing.
Yes that’s a massive point Frank- unfortunately Tiktok is very popular amongst the younger generation. Very popular. The Chinese owner of Tiktok, ByteDance own the data of all the users around the world. Besides, as you said, who actually knows what subliminal content is being posted on Tiktok as a propaganda tool for China.
Trump wanted TikTok banned in 2020 or run by a US company ie. Microsoft. Which meant that Tiktok users data in US, Canada, Australia and NZ would have stayed in the US. Biden threw that proposal out.
