Earning Respect

Jacob Rodney Cohen,a/k/a Rodney Dangerfield, was born just over a century ago.  Hard to believe he has been gone for seventeen years.  The King of the One-Liners.  His rapid fire delivery assured that by the time you groaned at a bad joke he told you would be laughing at a good one.  His tag line was that he got no respect.  Actually his public and fellow comedians gave him a huge amount of respect.  Comedy is hard and Dangerfield made no effort to conceal that fact.
