There’s a difference between the right / left divide in politics and the orthodox / [fill in kind word for this when I think of one] divide in religion. Usually, the political divide doesn’t apply to Church politics. But this pope has promoted a political agenda. I couldn’t put a political label on any other pope in recent times, outside of opposition to movements of their times that opposed the Faith.
