In Vain?

People can make up their own minds about vaccines.  I got vaccinated in spite of my concerns about the efficacy of the vaccines and their long term safety.  On a medical issue, like most issues, opinions will vary.  What I find appalling is the propaganda and coercion being used to force unwilling people to be vaccinated.  Tomorrow is Veterans Day when we honor those who have served in our armed services.  They deserve this honor, the vast majority who served honorably, and I will celebrate them tomorrow as I always do.  However, if traditional American liberties can be so cavalierly cast aside, under such a weak pretext, a disease with an over 99 percent survival rate, the terrible question occurs to me: did our brave veterans bleed in vain?

Sorry but IMO lawsuits and the court route won’t do much at all. They own too much of the justice system.

One thing that hit me back in March 2020 is that the discussion of medical matters by partisan Democrats was immediately incorporated into their constant political warfare. (The partisan Democrats I encounter are spewing rubbish on our Fakebook wall or participate in one of three forums I frequent, from two of which I’ve been banned). So, Trump mentions in one press conference that hyroxychloroquine might be a ‘game changer’ (based on on-the-fly use of the drug in France) and the idiots begin trafficking the notion that the President is promoting patent medicines. Ivermectin has been subject to the same treatment by these fools. Then there is the ‘trust the science’ bilge, which actually means being unquestionably obedient to the pronouncements of government officials drawn from guilds whose members rountinely vote Democratic. After their peregrinations over masks (the latest episode of which was the CDC director pulling a nonsense number out of her rectum and claiming that mask usage could reduce contagion by 80%) and the statement signed by a three digit population of public health specialists informing us that buts-to-nuts public demonstrations were fine and dandy as long as they were to protest the ‘public health problem’ of ‘racism’, no sentient person takes these clowns seriously. The vaccine is not sterilizing and the virus is not peculiarly contagious, so the analogy the idiots on our Fakebook wall keep drawing to early childhood immunizations does not hold. People under 25 are in almost no danger from this virus and people under 45 are in danger only if morbidly obese; there is absolutely no point in pushing the vaccine in schools. And, of course, it’s like a flu shot; it’s not that effective and it wears off. But they’re attempting to bully private enterprise and public employees into wearing masks and taking the vaccine against their better judgment. Terms like ‘progressive’ and ‘Democrat’ are now synonyms for ‘stupid asshole’.
