Thought For the Day

The Church has rightfully been raked over the coals for this type of evil.  Public schools?  I think we are about to turn over a very large rock and be horrified by what we find.

The National School Board Association thinks this is terrible– school boards shouldn’t have to deal with the parents of rape victims actually objecting, publicly.

I think you’re exactly right, Don. It’s been public record for years, and of course ignored by those whose narratives it fails to support, that the rate of reported sexual abuse of minors among teachers, coaches and others in regular contact with their victims far exceeds the rate of reported abuse by clerics, in some reports by a factor of two or more, IIRC. Most entities have proven to be no more effective at dealing with this problem than the Catholic Church has been.

Why would they report it to the school and not the police first. Is it because minors are involved?

Smart dad. First, that he ‘asked’ how it was being handled. Second, that when he was told they’d handle it, he got her actual help.

Usually, the victim goes to the school and reports the crime– and they do not call the police about the assault. Sexual or attempted murder, both.

I keep telling people that they must get their children & grandchildren out of these schools. I might as well be talking to a brick wall. People are casting their kids to the wolves & then are shocked when their kids come back mauled.
