Pelosi Flees

Heckling Pelosi at Mass is a breach of good manners.  Having her do the second reading is a sacrilege.

My guess is it happened before Mass, otherwise why would he need to explain it during the Mass.

Did anyone hear any reference by the good Father to Christ in these excerpted and quite defensive remarks, or was it what I heard, a procession of political talking points about global warming and acceptable “listening” endorsed by his favored pro-abort political power broker who listens to no one but the godless power drive within her?

Maybe a campaign like “let’s go Brandon” will start in honor of Pelosi. Like, let’s go Peggy.
So, the ironic thing is her safety is paramount?
She is so insulated here she doesn’t realize that people are very much against her worldwide.

Plus, about listening to the young garbage, the only youth she listens to are the ones regurgitating the leftist agenda from schools.
She doesn’t listen to the prolife youth.
She doesn’t listen that mining the materials for these so called green electric cars are going to put children in 3rd world countries in mortal danger.
Let’s go Peggy!

Herewith a paste of my comment on this incident at another blog:

“Now, I know nothing about Fr. Petroff beyond what is presented here, but I do know (a) this travesty (Pelosi being invited to be a lector) could not have happened without his full knowledge and permission, and (b) the Paulists are generally regarded by more traditional Catholics as one of the most Modernist orders, right up there with the Jesuits and the Maryknolls. In other words, much of what they tend to preach and practice bears only passing resemblance to the Faith as handed down from the Apostles. I will leave it at that, since this is probably not the place for an apologetics discussion. But it explains, I think, the origin of this kerfuffle.

And good for the heckler(s), by the way. That sort of thing, meaning the faithful standing up for Truth when our “shepherds” will not, needs to start happening everywhere, all the time.”

And Don, while I agree it’s not good manners to heckle someone like Pelosi at Mass, maybe the time for good manners has passed.

“Having her do the second reading is a sacrilege.“

But if that second reading were St. Paul’s stern warning against receiving communion sacrilegiously, it would be a bit of poetic justice.

My take on her leaving Mass early wasn’t due to any heckling.
She couldn’t take the heat.
Graces are incredible gifts. Sometimes a grace comes in the form of examination of conscience that is stirring to the soul and fight or flight instincts kick in.

She’s a big girl.

Big enough to put on a show behind President Trump at the end of his State of the Union address years back. She’s not a prissy little thin-skinned chick-a-dee. No.

The rush to get out of Church was much deeper imho.

The Warning is a great gift from God.

Where better to deliver it than in His presence in His Church? Yes, in public. Public figures who give scandal to the Church of God through their defiance of it’s teachings deserve the heat.

I just hope it helps in her conversion.

btw…..many many truly devout Catholics are praying and fasting for her conversion.

Hummmm

I doubt there was a “security issue” as much as being cornered with questions she’d rather not answer.

That passage does not occur anywhere in the Novus Ordo lectionary. These ape church people plan ahead.

Gosh lucky them, I would have loved to be joining in the heckling. I might have thrown some Holy Water her way for fun just to see her shriek and recoil and her head spin 360. I don’t know how she has the audacity to step foot inside a Church with the views she has and the way she conducts herself. Terrible person to be holding position in high office.

Since when does they give a damn about liturgical rubrics? Therefore, why not insert that into the Lectionary? I know that’s a dispatch from Fantasyland.

foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. Romans 1:31-32

This makes it so clear we have two churches. The ape church feels it entirely appropriate to ask a corrupt pro-abort woman read at the altar. It’s hard to really accept that this woman believes it good for a child to be dismembered, moments before birth. She really thinks that, and fears no God, which is why she is pushing for this to be the law of the land. This is shocking to imagine, a Catholic promoting such a blatantly evil act. Good on the people who heckled her. Yes, as someone here said, the days of politeness are over. We can’t be polite in the face of what we are seeing and experiencing. Nobody says please and thank you as they dispatch infants.

Pelosi Fleas?
Huh.
That’s what you catch when you supposedly support your constituents, supposedly love your God and Church and supposedly support the democratic process.

In each case
she
has lied.

The worst thing.

She bullshits herself.

She is beloved and asconed for the rest of her evil life by the majority woke voters in her congressional district. Meanwhile, one of most outstanding “pro-life” Catholic Bishops asks for prayer and dialogue (where has he been the last ten years) as he continues to desecrate the Eucharist at every Mass she attends. What a leader! I can just imagine his administering the Eucharist with Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and others waiting to receive from his hands. Oh, but wait for that dialogue! What was that about the lukewarm?

Did you notice when she met Bergoglio over the weekend, neither wore a mask? They also had some sort of weird handshake / grip.

@ JRP.

In May of this year the Archbishop of S. F. did make a stand for the unborn and publicly stated that so-called catholic politicians who support abortion should not come to the communion rail to receive until they had a change of heart.

I was unaware that the Archbishop is giving her communion after that May document. Could be a priest in Pelosi’s diocese, but I don’t think it’s the Archbishop.

Regardless.
I agree with you about the length of time. So many Catholics have voted for pro abort politicians throughout the years. What a crying shame.
