Bad Seventies Vibe From Church and State

I lived through the Seventies as a teenager and a young adult.  It is unfair to make me do so again as a seasoned citizen!

Increase of clown masses = decrease in mass attendance.

Another reason to believe what Ratzinger predicted years ago would materialize today. A “smaller humble Church” will survive the trainwreck that Bozo is rushing into.

In an era when the TLM should be encouraged we have a wet blanket approach from Rome.

Signs of the times.

Stolen elections have consequences.

This time it will be worse.

The following “Never Yet Melted” blog citation was commenting on the climate hoax, but it applies to all the left’s hoaxes, myths, nightmares, and superstitions.

Never Yet Melted blog, “How do you brainwash the poorly-scientifically-informed masses into accepting claims of imminent climate catastrophe for which we are all to blame by indulging in the various comforts and conveniences served up by modern industrial civilization?

“You do it by subjecting them to a continual barrage of entirely suppositious scare stories alluding to an endless series of untoward consequences that may, perhaps, possibly, arrive very soon if you fail to bow to the Luddite dismantle-modern-life-and-go-back-to-the-Middle-Ages agenda and surrender vastly more money and regulatory authority to International Statism.”

The Luddites are out to dismantle our country and our way of life.

Resist.

Of course, to get there they will have reversed every thing President Trump set in motion. Then. they’ll blame Mean Tweets.

Just the facts.

Various central bank and big government actions caused higher commodities prices – oil prices skyrocketed 4x and gas lines – that was fun. By 1974, inflation was 12%. The ‘genius’ Fed raised rates to unprecedented levels – 13% by mid-1974 to fight inflation (from 1971 dollar devaluation and oil shock after the Yom Kippur War 10/1973).

US GDP crashed down 3.2% (biggest post-Great Depression drop until the 5.1% subprime mortgage crash 2007 – 2009). Unemployment went to 9% – highest since Depression. The S&P 500 went down 51.5% from January 1973 to December 1974.

This time could be worse.

Never underestimate the Dems’ ability to f@^$ things up.

Inflation is a monetary phenomenon, though intermediated through the real economy. If Mr. Powell wants to know why we have inflation, he and his four colleagues on the Federal Reserve Board can look in the mirror.

And, of course, the country is not in need of ‘stimulus’ or ‘infrastructure’. Real gross domestic product per annum is currently higher than it was in the 4th q of 2019. The Democrats propose to borrow a sum equivalent to 25% of our gross domestic product in order to make a pinata for their clientele. You would be hard put to find something so reckless and predatory in our political history.

Synods. Happy talk. More synods. More nonsense and more lost souls. God, Our Father in Heaven, is not pleased and is running out of patience. Bet on it.

You’re welcome & Thanks Phil.
I’ve listened to Fr Mancowski -three times and still learning. He has since passed away from an undiagnosed aortic aneurism.
We have the promise of persecutions ahead. 🙂

“We have the promise of persecutions ahead.” DWS

Agreed.
It is the way forward if we are to rise with Christ in the future. No fear..only opportunity to help fill His Barns from a witness that is heroic.
St. Maximilian Kolbe witness comes to mind.
It’s our souls, not our bodies, that matter. Never cave into denying Christ or His Gospels. A future regime just might push Christians to
denounce our faith.

Never.
