Despicable

I hope this is not true, but with our woke military I fear it is all too true:

I understand that the commanding general of the 82nd Airborne Division has told the commander of the British special forces at the Kabul airport to cease operations beyond the airport perimeter.

Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue has told his British Army counterpart, a high-ranking field-grade officer of the British army’s 22nd Special Air Service Regiment, that British operations were embarrassing the United States military in the absence of similar U.S. military operations. I understand that the British officer firmly rejected the request.

Go here to read the appalling rest.

Regarding “Despicable.” You are going to need a bigger blog.

God Help Us.

This is the biography of the general officer so accused. Not sure how to read his resume.

Same guy who got in a screaming fight with the Brit 2nd para over ‘endangering their agreement with the Taliban’?

https://www.independentsentinel.com/screaming-matches-between-us-uk-commanders-over-us-taliban-deal/

IIRC, he locked down his twitter account a few months ago after he got utterly dunked on in massive numbers for woke nonsense. Can’t find any news stories on it, but SNelson and others over at According To Hoyt recognized him. So not ‘hasn’t made an ass,’ more ‘scrubbed his feed after being an ass’. Which is…sort of still an achievement?

Ft Bragg had a news-worthy number of deaths in the last year or so, I know some of them were 82nd, and after this guy took over.

Possible triggering factor, yesterday the PR twit had to answer a question on if US troops that had crossed the wire did so with orders or not, and the guy had to say “uh… I’ll get back to you on that.”

They decided on their story:

This could be unfair to General Donahue.

The Brit SAS is basically equivalent to US Navy SEALS and their commanding general doesn’t force them to include in their training regimes the study of white rage or the fact that there are 57 genders.

Wouldn’t be surprised if there were words between the two COs. They are both under tremendous stress. The Brit has a clearly defined mission and leadership back home and in country. On the US side we’ve all seen the vacuum as far as senior leadership for our troops. General Donahue can’t make the decisions on the ground w/o direction from the W. H. The US CO has to be frustrated and feeling betrayed. Now everyone has cell phones so two NATO commanding officers cannot have a disagreement, heated exchange without the whole world knowing it. The Taliban have cell phones too.

Would the CO of the Navy Seals or Special Forces haves said that to the Brits? f course not. Just like the Navy Seals & Special Forces, you don’t mess with the British SAS – nor the Australian or NZ SAS for that matter.

A Bronze Star w V device is given to all officers assigned to a designated “combat zone.” At no time in his career was he ever on the ground shooting at the enemy. He’s been a desk jockey. He’s the new Army, liberal to the bone. He’s well on his way to full general. God help us.

Is our military lead by the WOKE crowd? Are the “feelings” of people being hurt by those who are truly courageous and are willing to sacrifice to save lives?
