WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a forceful press conference today, Biden called for whoever the President is to “clean up this mess” in Afghanistan.
“Listen folks, this is ridiculous!” said President Biden. “Who’s running this country anyway? I demand accountability! The President must be held responsible for this debacle!”
An aide attempted to whisper in his ear that he was the President, but Biden whirled around and punched the aide right in the nose in a flurry of righteous anger.
“How dare you sneak up on me while I’m holding the President to account!” said Biden.
Go here to read the rest. If we had a President instead of a puppet, questions that could be asked:
- Why did we begin this debacle of a withdrawal by giving up Bagram air base where most US air activity occurred for the past two decades?
- Why weren’t additional troops brought in initially to prepare the way for the withdrawal?
- Why are thousands of Americans now in Taliban occupied territory?
- Why did we announce the withdrawal in any case until it was well under way?
- Did the President ignore intelligence predicting a rapid fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban.
- Why did we allow quite a bit of our most sophisticated equipment to fall into the hands of the Taliban?
- We have been there for two decades. Had the military made any contingency plans for a rapid evacuation? Were those plans followed?
- Did we coordinate any of this with our Western allies, many of whom have personnel on the ground?
- What impact will this have in emboldening terrorists in the Middle East and around the globe?
- What is the relationship of the Taliban and China? Was any thought given to that when this evacuation was planned?
Of course these questions are wasted on a puppet. Whoever is pulling Biden’s strings wanted this to be a maximum disaster for the US. Mission accomplished.
