FYI…
I set up my phone and played this for my friend who is 97 yo. Her name is Lou. We were in the final stages of preparing her for her ride to the dining room, for breakfast, via her wheelchair, and she smiled and said; “That conversation between the piano and the rest of the orchestra was poetic.”
She is right.
Beautiful piece.
I put your offering to work Donald.
She and I throughly enjoyed it.
Thank you.
Made my day Phillip. The best music is a foretaste, a particle, of what our souls will experience in Heaven.
That, your remark, is in itself poetry.
Happy St. Maximilian day to you and yours.
Don, great point. Nearly every account of a “near death experience” I have seen in trustworthy collections, such as that kept by Fr. Robert Spitzer at his Credible Catholic site, includes a mention of indescribably beautiful music. The gifts God gave great composers and musicians were just advertising for the real thing. 😊
