I like this guy, but he seems to have difficulty getting to the point. I just don’t have time for five-minute rambles that could have been said in 30 seconds or less. 🤷🏻♂️
I’m hoping the next convention of the CAQ dumps en bloc the characters who did this to the province. Why is it that the leaders of our supposedly starboard parties routinely sell out their constituency?
@Art: “ Why is it that the leaders of our supposedly starboard parties routinely sell out their constituency?”
Great question. Wish I had an answer. Is it always thus in a republic/democracy?
No. In our case it is because of the dominance of the Left in the media, entertainment, media, you name it. This causes politicians and their families to come under enormous pressure from people who should be their peers. This is not surprising. The cultural dominance of the Left I suspect is waning, but it is still very much there. However, its increasing dependence upon sticks rather than carrots is not a sign of a confident dominance.
I do truly appreciate your generally optimistic take on these matters, Don. Perhaps I will survive to see the pendulum swinging back toward a more civil culture and a more effective Republic. In the meantime, live the true Catholic life and keep some emergency supplies on hand in case the crazies prevail.
