If in her youth my sister had acted as Greta Thunberg does, and had said the things she says, my father would have paddled her rear end so hard that she would not have been able to sit comfortably for a week. Spoiled brat upper little witch. And her parents should should hold their heads in utter shame for having raised such a prideful, arrogant little twerp. Having watched that imbecile lecture us in the video above, I do not feel very charitable towards her. Indeed, real charity would consist of disciplining her into her proper spot – studying in school so she can make something worthwhile of her currently miserable life: surrounded by and drowning in luxury while filled with anger, hatred and malice towards anyone disagreeing with her fantasies.
IF nitwits like her REALLY care about global warming from fossil fuel, THEN why did they shutdown 2000 MWe of pollution free energy from the twin Indian Point nuclear power plants in NYS, and why will they shutdown the Byron and Dresden nuclear power plants in Donald’s Illinois? Because methane burning is currently cheaper (but only temporarily until the “natural gas” companies start closing the spigot) and the damn CO2 emissions from that don’t matter to these eco-wacko fruit cakes so long as they have their electricity.
Consider the numbers: 2300 MWe from Byron and 1800 MWe from Dresden – all carbon free – gone forever. Add it up: 2000 MWe from Indian Point, 2300 MWe from Byron and 1800 MWe from Dresden = 6100 MWe of carbon free electricity gone forever. That’s 2.3 times MORE than what the Robert Moses Niagara Fall Hydroelectric Power Plant generates: 2675 MWe. You think Greta the enviro-nazi cares about that? Millions of tons of CO2 will now be released into the atmosphere from replacement methane fired generation. And no, useless worthless wind and solar can’t supply baseload power – too variable and too diffuse and capacity not exceeding 30% compared to nuclear’s 92%.
If these nut jobs really cared about the environment – and that includes the Marxist Peronist Caudillo heretic occupying the Seat of St. Peter – then we would be going nuclear b@11$ to the wall. But they don’t care because they know all this global warming propaganda is stink-poo excrement and only a way to gain more authority and solidify existing authority by strangulating the supply of energy.
Darn! I didn’t intend to rant again. That happens when the facility to which I dedicated 20 years of life – Indian Point – is shutdown because of a lunatic governor (you know him as Andy Cuomo) manipulating gas companies and the grid supply. He’s finally done to Indian Point what his father Mario before him did to Shoreham in Long Island. Like father, like son. It ain’t the capitalists to blame as Greta asserts. It’s these darn politicians in government to which she wants to give more power.

Cooler oceans, warmer oceans, the same.
So when I read in gov science publications “that the paleontology record definitively shows that higher CO2 means higher temperatures and lower CO2 means lower temperatures”, I agree with the correlation but isn’t the causation more likely the exact opposite? Cooler temperatures mean cooler oceans -lower CO2 and higher temperatures mean warmer oceans- higher CO2 on this ocean planet.
We need to keep an eye on the increases inCO2 in the atmosphere that was previously trapped in fossils from a time when there was more CO2 but so much of what passes as science in climate change discussion is false narratives and outright lies.
