Tim Scott video about schooling- So true that Covid lockdowns has long term detrimental affects on children and their learning. There were months of learning which children will never get back because of school lockdown closures. I’ve read studies which say that subjects such as English did not generally suffer from learning gains because kids stayed home and read during Covid lockdowns (well some did). However Maths learning gains fell by 10%. As did most other subjects.
Lack of instruction, access to reliable technology, economics stress from parents whose jobs were lost or not secure, health of family members…these all played a role. Not to mention a whole group of children who had a highly interrupted first year of schooling. The domino-effect for these littlies will be difficult to rectify in the years ahead. A whole year children cant get back.
We are all one in Christ, but the modern world is making every effort to abandon Christ.
If you want to get rid of racist theories like CRT, get people back to the Church.
