“two incredible actors!” Critical judgment from my good lady. Thanks again, Don, for keeping up words of wisdom from our modern day epic. You don’t recall what season/episode this is from? We’re revisiting the series and are 10 episodes into Season 3.
Season 5, episode 4: The View From the Gallery
Unfortunately that’s pretty much the only good scene from that episode.
In this series have you done the season 4, episode 22 “The Deconstruction of Falling Stars?” Its subject matter is very relevant to what is going on in today’s world. There are several clips from it on YouTube.
A fascinating episode. I have not dealt with it yet but I will get around to it. This series will be going on for a while.
I’m waiting until we get to the episode where the cross is visible in the mirror. Straczynski may be only partially lapsed.
An excellent Catholic defense of Babylon 5:

There’s really only two things that bug me about Babylon 5 from a Catholic perspective:
1.) JMS’s attempts to shoehorn in homosexual relations (which executives thankfully limited to ambiguous situations with Ivanova and Lochley).
2.) That pantheism seems to be the “correct” spiritual position given that it is endorsed by the “wisest” characters (Delenn, G’kar, Franklin).
As for the article fisked though, it’s the type of thing that I view as an endorsement of the show.
