PopeWatch: Vigano

At a Stop the Steal of the Faith rally in Rome, Archbishop Vigano addressed some one hundred thousand Catholics:

We’re gathered together in the heart of our Faith’s Capitol for one very, very basic and simple reason, to save our religion.  The gang in the Vatican have totally lost control. They’ve used the Papacy as a way of defrauding the Faithful. But when you see this and when you see what’s happening, number one, they all say, “Archbishop, we’ll never let it happen again.” I said, “That’s good, but what about eight years ago?” They try and get you to ignore what’s happening now. They say,  “Archbishop, in a few years Francis will be gone.” I said, “I’m not interested right now. Do me a favor, go back eight years. I want to go back eight years. Let’s go back eight years.” We want to go back eight years, and we want to rectify this because we have somebody in there that should not be in there and our Faith will be destroyed, and we’re not going to stand for that.

As the crowd marched on the Vatican they stormed Saint Peters  and began non-stop Rosaries, forcing Cardinals and the Pope to join in.  The Pope then tearfully resigned, confessing that his Papacy had been a mistake from first to last.

Then PopeWatch woke up and realized that he had merely been having a bad dream.  No Pope Francis had ever been elected.  Pope Benedict was still Pope.  Donald Trump had never been elected President.  President Cruz was about to enter his second term.  Blue birds began to sing.

Then PopeWatch really woke up to find a bat circling his overhead light fixture.  The bat seemed confused and frightened, not knowing where to go.  Welcome to the club, pal, said PopeWatch.
