Josh Hawley, Republican Senator from Missouri, is forty-one years old, young for a Senator. Because of him, both houses of Congress are going to have to vote on challenges to the electoral votes. The outcome I regard as pre-ordained, but by forcing such a vote Hawley is making sure the fraud is going to be heard about by the entire nation and every Congress critter will have to go on record. His tweet above in regard to Walmart shows that Trump is no passing fad, but rather a transformative figure as to both the country and the GOP. The old GOP that suffered slights in proud, or weak, silence, and routinely carried water for big business while routinely being kicked in the teeth by the same big business, is in the process of dying. Trump has produced a new Republican party, far more populist, rougher and less refined, a party of the people who are left behind by the urban elites congregated on the coasts and in a few urban centers in the middle of the nation. This transformation is why Trump is so hated, because it threatens an ever increasingly unjust status quo. The swearing in of Biden for his brief and tormented term of office will be seen as a victory of the status quo. They should enjoy it. It will instead mark the swan song of the current status quo. The Democrat party is well on its way to being a full fledged socialist party, and the new GOP will be the home of those who will stand for traditional American liberties. A new time is dawning in this nation, and Trump was merely the first act, although he may well also be the main player in Act III.

Agree. 2020 was a year of clarity for many. Grays have turned black and whites have been bleached. Let us thank God for providing the insight and let us pray for the courage to deal with it.
It appears Walmart deleted its tweet. But screen capture preserves evidence of their political bias.
WalMart has, like Fox News, apparently renounced the principles of its founders and gone full “woke.”
What is most irritating to me is, even in the Dallas northeast suburbs, allegedly a paradise for shoppers, my only alternatives to WalMart for relatively convenient grocery shopping are Kroger, Aldi (bargain basement, bag your own), Sprouts (ridiculously expensive and filled with anorexic, woke hippie wannabes), or Tom Thumb (also very expensive.) Kroger seems less ostentatiously leftist than most, so that may be our best shot. There are no small indie grocery chains around here as there are up in NW Illinois and eastern Iowa. I wonder why that is?
Walmart apologizes.

At last a Senator with good character and fortitude. May we have many more like him. Walmart has been spitting in its customers faces for a long time. Hopefully those who are able will take their business elsewhere. The problem becomes, who’s left? Apparently the reply of slave labor hit a nerve. Although susceptible to more than one application, I choose to see it as a rebuke to a left wing corporation who can donate to those who would destroy the nation, while paying many of its employees a barely livable wage. Go get em Josh.
