One of the saints given the unique privilege of dying as Christ died by crucifixion. This was done in 250 in the Decian persecution. A young nobleman of Neocaesarea, Pontus, he boldly announced his Christianity knowing the price he would pay. Courage and faith are weak terms when looking at an example of perfect love for Christ. No image of the saint can be found online, but his sacrifice echoes down the ages nonetheless.
