I have taught astronomy for years and even done some research.
I feel sick to my stomach. There is no escaping the madness.

We had to perform a major document update (tens of thousands of affected documents – plans, procedures, specs, design descriptions, reports, even drawings, etc.) at my company, Neutrons ‘R Us, because of these sick perverted miscreants. We had to change everything from he / him or she / her to they / them even though the corresponding noun is singular. This cost hundreds of thousands of dollars or more, and guess who paid for it! YOU DID with your taxes that finance the US DOE which is funding Neutrons ‘R Us.

PS, I love Titania McGrath’s satire.

Apparently there have been sightings of the Titania McGrath book shelved in the ‘politics’ section in bookstores, instead of in ‘humor/satire’.

One doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry at that.

Even though we’re mammals and therefore binary, since phases of the moon are associated with the behavior of fish and certain species of fish can change sex, maybe a midnight swim in the ocean might have an effect.
May I suggest Monomoy Island Cape Cod in August?

Chomp chomp gulp….bye Wanda.

I wish I had memories of the Cape. Only pictures of family. Clam bakes and a great photo of my Godfather Joe with a huge Stripper Bass caught surf fishing. I was 3yo when we moved to Michigan.
My dad was stationed at Woods Hole. I was born in Providence. Address in Greenville.

What a beautiful place, the Cape.

Phil, The Cape is a beautiful place, but it’s unsafe to swim in many places now. The “media” will blame global warming for the sharks, but it’s really the seals that have brought them in.. then the “media” will blame the seals on climate change but it’s really a colony of grey seals from Canada that decided to setup shop and expand in the 10’s of thousands on the National Seashore since the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) was enacted in 1972. Then the “media” will blame white colonizers for hunting seals, but anyone who thinks native Americans didn’t hunt seals is an idiot. Now it’s totally illegal to hunt them, hence shark city. My nephew lives on the the Cape, he’s putting in a pool, which is insane… Maybe if the seals which are also mammals also could be convinced to change sex there wouldn’t be any baby seals. But alas the seals aren’t that stupid.
