Brave Enough

At the end of his video, JP Sears talks about Facebook’s threat to de-platform his FB account. Of course, being far more politically incorrect than JP Sears, I have been censored repeatedly by FB, and placed in “FB jail” for days, sometimes weeks at a time, for some infraction that I made. The latest one is declaring in response to a post by President Trump against Antifa and BLM terrorists that the police should shoot them to protect innocent lives. FB immediately accused me of inciting violence and banned me for 24 hours to punish me as a little child would be sent to his room as punishment for speaking back to his parents. So while I never advocated the initiation of force, I can understand being placed in FB jail yet again (in response to this, I simply de-activated my FB account and moved to MeWe).

Yes, I do think violent insurrectionists who commit violence against women and children should be shot dead where they stand. If one doesn’t want to die, then one must not attack women and children. What a novel idea! But threats to de-platform comedian JP Sears for no other reason than he makes people laugh at the tyranny of the political and social media elites? Really? Personally, I think Mark Zuckerberg of FB and Jack Dorsey of Twitter should be arrested and thrown into a dungeon to reside there for the remainder of their natural lives, their companies broken apart into myriad of parts, and every single liberal Democrat employed therein summarily dismissed into perpetual unemployment. But that’s my fantasy.

In the meantime, I encourage everyone to migrate to MeWe (the non-censor alternative to FB) and Parler (the non-censor alternative to Twitter). FB and Twitter have power ONLY because we give them power. It is time to take that power away from them, and we can do that peaceably without violence of any sort. When their membership drops, advertisers will see a loss in revenue and respond accordingly. Being made poor – losing all their riches – would be the best thing to happen to Zuckerberg and Dorsey.

Today’s Gospel reading for Gaudete Sunday is Mary’s Magnificat. Luke 1:53 in that song of praise is something we can all in our small way help God do: “He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away.” Send Zuckerberg and Dorsey away empty handed. Faith without works is dead as James 2:17 says. So let’s put our faith into action.

BTW, one last thing – I have been getting unsolicited advertisements on my Android cell phone to join Facebook. These advertisements pop up now (they never did before) when I play some mindless video game to distract myself, or go on some website to purchase an item. The cognitive dissonance, the outright hypocrisy of social media is beyond comprehension. Why should one share details of one’s life on a social media platform that monitors everything being written and posted, and then censors anything that doesn’t meet its preconceived notions of being nice, tolerant, and non-divisive. Frack you, FB and Twitter, frack you straight to the depths of hell. Cesspools or iniquity and depravity!

Agreed – pray for the conversion of America & Fraudulent Biden. But be prepared to imitate the Maccabean brothers. There is only one way to deal with the Seleucid overlords. We don’t want that. We don’t encourage violence. Never initiate violence. But the Seleucid soldiers (BLM & Antifa) are doing violence now, & their overlords are not just assenting to this but commanding & encouraging it be done. Overthrow the Seleucids!

@Karl – MeWe is where FB was 10 years ago. Regarding dividing & conquering, you have a point, but what’s the sense of participating in FB when what I post (no different than what I say here at TAC) is used to punish me by censorship & banning? Sure, MeWe isn’t user friendly right now in its infancy, but it’ll improve in this area over time as more people use it. My fear is that internet service providers will begin to refuse platform to alternatives like MeWe & Parler. We’ll be stuck with Orwellian communist platforms like FB & Twitter where only one message, one ideology is allowed. Remember Pravda?

FYI, there is a media platform called Rumble that is an alternative to YouTube.
