This facilitating illegal immigration from Islam to the West is an inexplicable policy of the gang at the Vatican. It has no basis in the history of the Church, quite the reverse. It is especially nauseating when consideration is given to how many Muslim countries there are, and how few of them do squat for Muslim refugees. The “refugees” are not real refugees in most cases, but young men coming to the West to live off welfare and, in far too many cases, assault Western women. I just get more and more disgusted every day with that Democrat (er, I’ve been told RINO, but what’s the difference?) from Chicago. The Pope’s position is one based on the replacement of caritas (agape) with sentimentality. Caritas requires the justice of discipline (the Lord disciplines those whom He loves – Deuteronomy 8:5 and Hebrews 12:6), but sentimentality excuses all manner of wickedness and by definition is inherently unjust. It’s prideful virtue-seeking and self-righteous posturing to garner the favor of the world. But James 4:4 states the following:
Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
Perhaps God will use this world – the enemies of the Church – to teach the Vatican clerics a well-needed lesson. The prophet Habakkuk tells us that that is exactly what God did with Judah. Indeed, the only thing that teaches sentimental fools like Pope Bob anything is being faced with what King Zedekiah was faced in 2nd Kings 25:5-7. But just as Nebuchadnezzar blinded Zechariah, so too is Pope Bob already blind.

Almost none of the ‘refugees’ are actual refugees. The Democrats allowed 12 million people to traipse over the border. There have been no inter-state wars in Latin America since 1935 bar border skirmishes over in two weeks. The last of the string of insurgencies in the region was settled in 2010. The most acutely distressed country in the region is Venezuela. Getting from Venezuela to here requires crossing the Darien Gap and passing through a half dozen hispanophone countries.

There aren’t any active insurgencies in the Arab world and points adjacent. The situation most resembling one is in Iraq where civilian deaths from political violence currently sum to about 450 per year. The political order in the Muslim world is less abusive than it was 50 years ago. As for Tropical Africa, the most violent loci therein are 2,400 miles, 4,600 miles, and 4,700 miles from Tunis, the location from whence those collecting at Lampedusa are sailing.

Quite a contrast to Pope Gregory III who congratulated Charles Martel and his victory over the Muslims at the Battle of Tours in 732. He went on to ask Charles to help him stop the Lombard invasion of Italy. Seems people were not happy with alien invasions then.
