Assimilating into the American way does not include call to prayer publicly announced over huge speakers from a mosque.
It means taking the Islamic neighbor by the hand and walking him through OCIA.
Strange Gods did not bless us.
The One and Only God, found in our nations beginning, Jesus the Christ, is not accommodating other Gods in His Kingdom nor shall we in ours.
