Dems have gone out of their way to find find controversial candidates this time. Problem is the various comments and interviews have shown a surprising number of voters say they will support these people regardless. It took Rome over half a millenia to fall. Looks like some are trying to beat that record.

Elated at Gothmog’s candidacy for Senator in Maine, Sen. Charles Schumer repeated multiple times, “We met with Gothmog today. We’re going to beat Susan Collins and take back the Senate.”
