If more vocations are wanted to the priesthood, make certain that boys understand that a priest’s life, ideally, should be a knight’s journey in service to Christ.

Ours in the FSSP church we attend are pretty macho. One is a Coast Guard veteran, the other in particular likes to work on cars and has held multiple car repair events and whatnot.
We’re in a very low crime area here, but I could see most of our priests here doing the same, if this kind of thing were to happen.
I’m sure Archbishop Weisenberger would remove the priest if he could. But, St Joseph Shrine is operated by The Institute of Christ the King and it’s priests. You know, that plague upon the Church called respect for tradition that the Archbishop is trying to shut down in the Archdiocese?
