Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
No mention on this card of the sexual advances of the king on Lwanda and the other court pages, which their faith required them to resist unto the point of death.
Perhaps St Lwanga is a large part of the reason homosexual blessings were received in Africa like a lead balloon at a neurologists convention. I cannot believe it is “coincidence” that his feast day is in June.
St Lwanga was burnt alive, but said to his executioner, “It is as if you are pouring water on me. Please repent and become a Christian like me.”
Not gay friendly *and* not ecumaniacal *and* not for universal salvation!? If he was ancient enough to doubt his “historicity,” St Lwanga would likely be removed from the calendar by the current occupants of the Vatican!
