Pope Leo not only has given no indication that he doesn’t stand behind it, he renewed it. He doesn’t realize that when you’re dealing with marxists, it’s the equivalent of four sheep and a wolf communally deciding what to have for dinner. They’ll never be happy. Whatever you give them, they’ll take advantage of, demand more, they’ll take even more when you don’t voluntarily give it, and then they’ll beat over the head with what you gave them or they took from you. What’s that old cliche about deals with the Devil?
