A beautiful church and even more beautiful story. I can’t help wondering whether Christ will protect this place when France is ruled by the jihadists, or will He allow it to become a mosque as part of the Great Chastisement that Our Lady has predicted?
I was there in the late 90s. I traveled to Kuwait on business and my co-workers thought a 3 day layover in Paris, on our return trip, would be fun. I thought of this movie as we sat upon the steps around the Sacré-Cœur Basilica late at night looking at the lights of Paris. Sadly the Church was closed for the night and we could not enter.
