75 was the number of people who attended the dinner in Washington DC to honor Carrie Prejean Boller, the anti-semite and former maker of sex tapes who is telling us how to be Catholic based upon her few months of being a Catholic. A potluck in my small parish that drew 75 people would be regarded as a failure.
Wow! Carrie Prejean has always behaved horribly! I never knew about her till these past few months. She is like a spoiled brat teenager.

Whatever happened to John Henry Westen? I finally stopped contributing to Lifesite News about a year ago over one of his forays into incoherence, I forget which one now. A real puzzler, that one (to me, at least).
There’s a trend toward the nuttiest MAGA or beyond-MAGA types identifying as Catholic or Orthodox. The idea is, America is Christian (good) but has been too Protestant (free). The thing that protected Europe from Islam wasn’t the Faith, but the monarchies. There’s about a billionth of a hint of truth to it. The motivation, I suspect, is more about branding than belief.
We sane conservative Catholics are going to face a backlash because of them.

They got rid of him for a moment and then he came back and retook control of the site. He has a real bug up his butt about the Jews. It is a tragedy because Lifesite News was my go to source on abortion stories ignored by the media.

I’m not sure who you meant. If you’re asking who the “we” sane ones are, I guess that’s fair. If you’re asking who the nutty ones are, they’re sadly not hard to find online these days.
I don’t think I ever heard of her before she was kicked off that board or whatever it is.
I alludedcto this in another thread that Michael Matt is right there with Westen. The war in Iran is a neocon forever war fight for Israel blah blah blah.
