In Egypt, cats were worshipped as gods.
Cats have never forgotten this.
Anthropologists say dogs evolved from wolves because they saw advantages of living with humans such as getting the food scraps. Cats (felines) continued getting their own food and saw no advantage to living with humans and their new found friends, the canines.
Unlike dogs who forgave us, cats remember our mistake in the Garden of Eden and have not forgiven us.
