Iran needs the Straits of Hormuz open, not us. 85% of Iranian government revenues come from oil exports. The geniuses running Iran suddenly realized that by shutting down the Straits they were cutting their own throats. Pass the popcorn and stay tuned.
Iran (and most of the anti-Trump and anti-US types) was clearly in “cut off nose to spite face” mode just to clearly show they were “on the correct side” (in their own addled minds).
Doing things just for the sake of appearances is always destructive.
The mainstream media continues its unstoppable slide into irrelevance. It’s sad to see, I remember in the 1970s the high regard most people had for the media, and actually trusted what they heard. Those days are long gone.
