Go here to read the story. Judas is the favorite patron damned, apparently, of all too many clerics.
So Long As We Have Clerics, Vaudeville Will Never Die

Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
I never had to be arrested because of the trips I made to Mexican brothels when I was a submarine sailor long ago. I paid good money for services rendered, never went with anyone underaged, and never mistreated anyone. I always behaved politely and courteously because I feared both Shore Patrol and Captain’s Mast. Exactly what did this clerical misfit do that merited arrest?
LQC, he didn’t use his own money, embezzled
Thank you, Mrs. Ospey. That explains everything.
LQC – too much information. You’re Forgiven. Move On. That’s the devil rattling your brain.
If this bishop went to ladies of the evening.. he will be severely punished. If they weren’t ladies, probably not.
The state of the Chirch today.
“Meanwhile, the priests of the Chaldean Catholic Eparchy of St. Peter the Apostle issued a statement expressing support for Shaleta.
“After hearing all of the critics and attacks against our eparchy and bishop, we ask the Lord to protect our eparchy and bishop from all of the negative attacks. We are in solidarity with our eparchy and bishop,” the statement reads.
“We are awaiting the decision on this matter. Please continue to keep this eparchy in your prayers and remain faithful to the salvific mission of Christ.””
The Bishop resigned in January.
According to the Post:
“Over $427,000 is unaccounted for — but the true number could be as high as $1 million, the outlet reported.”
On the other hand, the Eparchy supports the bishop.
Seems like there is more going on here than we will hear from the papers. I pray that justice and repentance, and not despair, are the results.
Hey, the bishop says he took a couple hundred thousand dollars from the Chaldean charity fund and gave it to the poor …
Clearly, he meant the poor struggling hookers in Tijuana …
And the poor drivers from the limo service who transported him to and from the border and the brothel in luxury …
… And even the financially strapped human traffickers who were simply trying to give those girls career opportunities …
A little charity people!
On the other hand, the Eparchy supports the bishop.

David WS, Thanks. You’re probably right. Now in my late 60s, I remember that I am no better than anyone else.
I just noticed that my first comment received four negative reactions. That’s a new record for me! Hooray! Thanks, Guys! 😁😁😁
As I cynically said to my husband, “Couldn’t he have at least spent the money in an American brothel?” The Chaldeans have a beautiful church doen here. Hope they get a new bishop to.match.
