(Just thought that up. Can’t ever really say “on my own” but definitely not-)
Even if there was a point to be made by the original tweet, the reflexive anti-Semitism mucks it up.
He was an engaging provocateur 35 years ago. He’s been nuts for some time.
Does this person have no family or loved ones who can intervene?
He has been married and may still be married. He has a large number of children. I believe he is at least 70, probably older.
Oh, well … Better the internet than raging at kids walking across his lawn, I suppose.
My wife would say he needs to take a chill pill.
From what I recall from 35 years ago, this post seems on-brand.
He did not trade in Joobabble 35 years ago.
He’s been at it for at least 22 years:

I read “Degenerate Moderns” and “Dionysius Rising” (which I still have) and I appreciated Jones’ insight that (as Aristotle would put it) men either adjust their behavior to their ideas or their ideas to their behavior. Much of modern liberal politics is driven by a yearning to eliminate all restraints on personal behavior (originally sexual behavior) without consequence. Herod can’t admit John is right without repentance, so he kills John, and establishes a crushing political order keep his critics (and so his conscience) silent.
The now total disintegration of a once-extraordinary mind. Sad to watch.
