Honoring the Lord by kneeling at the rail and receiving on the lounge is a posture of showing reverence and respect. Those little acts of love help make up for the disobedient homosexual priests who see nothing wrong with men laying down with other men. Of course I’m just one of many who don’t understand their mantra;
Love is Love.
Bishop Martin deserves a good, solid right cross to the mouth. Convince me I am wrong.
The man is a bully. I see no Christian charity in his actions or words. This kind of behavior is not indicative of ho a Bishop should carry out his duties. If I were in Charlotte I would have no problem going to the SSPX Mass, which I would think is overflowing.
I am tempted to agree with Penguins Fan about the right cross. Unfortunately, so far, that right would put us in the wrong. (Still *very* tempting though.)
It may be even more painful, for those who consider themselves to be irresistible forces, to be met by immovable objects. Let us pray that the calm immovability of St Thomas More inspires our embattled Charlotte brethren.
The right cross would be momentarily delicious. Far better, though, would be the optics of having to resort to police means to expel a rotation of stalwart faithful keeping a 24/7 vigil at the rail 🤔
At the Vatican Masses there are stanchions around with the Swiss Guard standing by. At EWTN there is a guard at the door at every Mass. Guard rails make distribution of the Holy Eucharist easier. Where in Vatican II are the guard rails to be removed.? No where, that’s where. Lust for power. Bully Sicko.
