Staying in Gaza City to serve as human shields for the murderers of Hamas is not Catholic and is morally insane.

The Arab bosses on the West Bank and Gaza have been offered their own state on three separate occasions and spurned the offer each time. NB, Gaza was placed under an Arab authority in 1994 and the last of the Jews there evacuated in 2005. You can see what they accomplished with the mini-state they were given. You point this out to Israel’s detractors and they simply refuse to respond and the worst of them babble idiotically about ‘genocide’.

I used to be a “what about the Christians!!??” type regarding the Middle East when I was in my teens and 20’s, but my cynicism grew greatly especially with the rise of the Pallywood agitprop machine. However, I will take correction if I am wrong.

I don’t believe the reporting that the Israeli Defense minister labelled Christian’s as “terrorists”. He is not that stupid.
I do stand by the opinion that Israel is not doing enough to protect the Christians in Gaza. I think they would rather die than leave. And I don’t expect anyone who has lived in a country with peace their whole life to understand that these people would rather die than leave their home.

Since the formation of the Israeli state there have been tensions between Israel and the Vatican. The current Israeli government has been sharply critical of Poles. There has long been BS about Poles helping the Nazis.
The Gaza Christians out to get out of there.
Israel and Vatican had good relations under St JP2. It’s in Israel’s political interest to protect Christians in the Holy Land. Even Saudi Arabia and the UAE value Christians in the political stability of the region to counter Iran.
