While I’m not onboard with the attempts to quasi canonize Kirk, he was a model of how civil discourse amongst college aged kids should be conducted.

A teacher.
He wanted to teach them what they were missing and tried to do so in a very short time. The subjects were Christ grounded, or divine perspective if you will.

A good man.

I agree with Greg Mockeridge. Kirk was a Godly man, and a devoted husband and father, and a patriot, all the things that the worthless left hates. But Cardinal Dolan’s comparison of him with Saint Paul was, I think, a bit too much.

To call NCR “Fishwrap” is an insult to fish wrap. Fish wrap has a value. NCR doesn’t. It’s a waste of electrons.

WE aren’t making him a martyr. Someone else did. And if he achieves martyr status, it will be because God wills it. The fact is he was killed for speaking the Truth. But Fishwrap has only a passing acquaintance with the Truth.

Cardinal Dolan was on Fox and Friends Thursday and he compared Kirk to Saint Paul. He thought of him as an evangelist.

The pearl clutching moment in the quote centers around the fear that people might just learn that what Christ teaches is more aligned to Kirk than to some the soft soap peddled by Bishop Baron.

Charlie Kirk was a great American.

(Why can’t that statement be enough???)

Amen to David WS.

Why can’t NCR do a story on a saintly Catholic who started a campus crusade which rallied hundreds of thousands of college students to question their beliefs and those of their profs?
Where was that saintly Catholic that helped to usher in a President that was crucified by the ungodly left? Where was the saintly Catholic who helped to get the vote out while questioning those young people in those indoctrination centers?

Why not do that story NCR?

You can’t.

Although Charlie Kirk was raised in a Protestant home, he married a Catholic and, to my knowledge, never said anything against authentic Catholic teaching, which is more than I can say for some Catholics that follow NCR.
