It’s somewhat confused at this time as to whether his father was a sheriff’s deputy or shared the name of a local sheriff’s deputy. There are also contentions floating about that he was an internet leftist in high school, so you would not attribute his politics to the brief period he spent at Utah State. It will take some time for the story to be adequately clear on that point.
I mildly understand the contrarian impulse to some degree – I was marinated in a leftist environment (family, parish, college), but I turned out to be a fairly hardened conservative. That, however, is where this similarity ends.
I am praying for his father, for what father wants to have to do this? It brings to mind the scene in the film The Big Country when Burl Ives’ Hannassey shoots his own son (Chuck Connors) for violating the rules of a duel with Gregory Peck. The sheer heartbreak displayed by Ives stirred me much more once fatherhood became a part of my life.
Two families destroyed. The Kirk and Robinson families. It’s very difficult to comprehend what went on in this boys mind.

Last night my wife and I went to a private screening of Triumph of the Heart, St. Maximilian
Kolbe’s story.
The depiction of Commandant Fritch was an example of a fascist.
Charlie Kirk was just one man selected to enter the starvation bunker with eight others and one volunteer. A Polish priest.
His crime?
Speaking the truth in the face of fascists.
Kolbe had broadcasted, via a radio station, that the German National Socialist movement would one day occupy Poland. It’s indoctrination systems started at elementary schools levels.
Children were being taught to hate.
The American National Socialist movement has another name. Democrat.
They have indoctrination centers as well.
Kolbe and Kirk both had a similar mission
They both were fearless in the face of real not imagined, fascist.
The real fascist kill, not debate.
St.Maximilian Kolbe and Charles Kirk are two men who will be forever remembered. Honorable men

I am praying for the entire family. That is the only true solution to this awful mess. Prayer.

I was 13 years old. The snot nosed spoiled brat called me filthy names. He as asked to stop. He was told to stop. Nothing worked. I knocked him down, straddled his chest and choked, and choked. I knew that if I let him up that he would kill me. So, I choked him more. He turned beet red and began to cry. His good buddies standing around watching turned away. I knew then that there would be no repercussions. I let him up. I heard that he became a lawyer. Sorry Donald.
I still thank God he did not die under my arm.
here is another chestnut:
The woman used to jump the cyclone fence at 1:30 AM to peek inside her neighbor’s house. she broke her ankle an was awarded $95,000.00. Then the state passed a law saying that any injury sustained while in the commission of a crime cannot sue for damages.
That state passed a law that any criminal released from prison must be given his old job back. I worked with a murderer. He bragged about how he ran down an old lady to watch her die.
The Subway Vigilante, Bernard Goetz in 1984 stopped four men from robbing him and/or killing him. One was paralyzed and was awarded $43.000.00 by the court.
Daniel Perry’s chokehold of an attempted criminal resulted in the criminal’s death. In 2024 Self-defense went on trial. Perry was freed.
The paper ran an editorial: “Are you going to rape and kill me or are you going to only rape me?” This after a woman’s head was chopped with an axe 43 times. The jury said that they could not discern whether it was murder.
All this because the assassin of Charlie Kirk has been captured. He will be given three consecutive life sentences with no parole.
After the fury and angst of the tax payers has been placed in the past, the murderer will be let out of prison some night in about six months.
When the prisons become overcrowded with murderers, the doors are opened and to bad for the population.
Here is another caveat:
Paul Ehrlich’s book: Population Bomb. Thomas Malthus predicted that mankind would die of starvation by 1970. (Mankind invented the computer and went to the moon by 1970) As Scrooge said in The Christmas Carol: “Let Tiny Tim die and reduce the population by one.”
It is past time we, the people stop sacrificing our innocent men, women and children to Moloch. It is time for another war for Independence, for truth and for Justice.

Their beloved son stopped listening to his parents.
I have been praying for these parents, and the parents of the Annunciation killer. Charlie’s death has really thrown me for a loop. Two of our three kids, all millennials, have gone to the radical left. Our only daughter, who always talked about marriage and children, dated young men and loved to wear cute dresses, has recently decided she’s a lesbian.
Our oldest son had gotten very involved with BLM. We’re white. His like minded white friends call themselves white maggots. He did recently marry a young woman so there’s that. But I will never forget the night I stayed over with my elderly mom and my son sat down, leaned into my face and hissed horrible things to me. I could feel the hatred rolling off of him. He has never been violent but that night I knew in my gut that he could truly hurt me.
Those two are now completely estranged, probably safer for my husband and me.
The youngest leans left but tries to be moderate. He has shown signs recently that he may return to the Church. I pray.
These are kids who had a happy upbringing, two parents and four grandparents who consistently practiced our Catholic faith.
They were groomed in college, and social media has a lot to do with this.
My family is broken. I love them but I’m so angry that this is our reality. They’re gone. Probably for good.

My family is broken too. So it the lady who looks like she has it all together.
That is what the Enemy enjoys – breaking things.
It it your fault? Is it my fault? Was there something more we should have done?
Even if we had executed all of our family relationships *flawlessly* it would not be enough to counteract their free will.
God did everything flawlessly, and mankind still fell. Do your best and trust that God will work it out in His own way, though it breaks your heart. (and mine) Don’t stop praying for them when you feel like you “can’t do anything.” The Enemy loves it when we believe that prayer is in the same category as “doing nothing.” It’s actually the best “something” we’ve got!
