Thoughts for the Day

I was thinking today about Mother Teresa’s warning at the prayer breakfast in… 1993, I think? She warned that war, even nuclear war, would be the consequence of abortion. I think the Cup of Iniquity is overflowing and we’re witnessing the first acts of Mother Teresa’s prophecy being fulfilled.
This video should be of interest to both Catholics and Protestants. Charlie Kirk on the need to venerate Mary:

Thank you, lepanto:
Charlie Kirk was well on his way to embracing the truth.
I agree with Mary.
Charlie Kirk lived with a great part of his life in the public eye, talking with people who disagreed with him— and yet I can’t recall a single instance of him losing his temper or saying something unkind. He was always charitable, even with his most vehement opponents. He was precisely the sort of person we needed in the public square, arguing for the right. This is a tremendous loss for our entire country, as well as for his wife and their two small children. Words fail.
Yes, I agree, Clinton.
Somehow, it seems that violence – including this vile murder – is the reaction of those who cannot answer to logic.
CK always defended his views with clear and simple reason – calmly. He undoubtedly frustrated those who disagreed with him because they could not do the same – defend their views with equal clarity and logic.
It is a tragic day for America when anyone is coldly and cruelly murdered simply for voicing an opinion – whether I agree with it or not. That is not who we are. We are better than this.
I agree with Kisin.
We lost Charlie Kirk yesterday.
A political man, but not a politician, shot.
Not shot in the broil of passion from the crowd, but cool from a rooftop 200 yards away.
It does feel Rubicon-like in some way.
I am less worried about Charlie than I am for the rest of us.

Praying for the Republic of these United States.
The enemy will not triumph.
Free speech will Trump the bullets of cowards.
The Right will prevail.
God rest your soul, Charlie.
