Pressure? Yet no mention of the Degenerate Pilgrimage in Rome? Or the lack of a Vatican response to it?

Pope Leo has heard from Cardinal Burke and the President of Poland. I can just hope he listens.
JFK’s link sank my heart but Jesus can help them if they only humble themselves and ask with contrite hearts.
That backpack speaks volumes. 🙁
He didn’t invite them JFK. They stormed their way in. Shame on the priest who presided over these “blessings”. The profanities in their T-shirts is evidence they are not in their right minds. It’s pure attention seeking and provocation.
Why can’t we turn the blame onto that mob and their enablers instead of expecting the Pope to decry it. He doesn’t support it. That’s clear as day. And that’s enough assurance for someone like me.
“ They stormed their way in. “
They did no such thing. They were invited. The Church of the Gesù is the mother church of the Jesuits, after all … Saints Ignatius of Loyola and Robert Bellarmine are buried there. It was an official pilgrimage listed on the Vatican Holy Year web site. Contrast that with the SSPX pilgrimage where the official status of the pilgrimage was taken away and all mention on the Vatican web site removed.
“They were invited.”
Nonsense. They were not. An Italian advocacy group Jonathan’s Tent “invited” them. Next time I’ll invite people to your house and say CAG invited them.
“I’ll invite people to your house and say CAG invited them.”
And then you’d be a liar.
The Jesuit Church of the Gesù, “Fr.” James Martin’s mother church, invited them in and even said a Mass for them. They placed a rainbow cross in the Sanctuary.
Bishop Francesco Savino, vice president of the Italian Bishops’ Conference, presided over a Mass for an international LGBT pilgrimage. More than 1,000 people attended, waving rainbow flags and rainbow crosses. Religious sisters and brothers fanned themselves with rainbow-colored fans. The recessional ended in applause and embraces.
And there, in the sanctuary above the tomb of St. Robert Bellarmine, the great defender of the papacy against Protestant heresy, a rainbow cross was lifted high as if it were the new sign of salvation.

And? How is that an official invite from the Vatican implicating the Pope. Get a grip. Stop manipulating the facts to hate on the Pope because it excites you.
Ezabelle and CAG.
Invited or not, let us unite and not divide our prayers tonight. Around 1916-17 Fr Maximilian Kolbe watched as a band of Freemasons paraded around St Peters Square depicting Satan crushing the head of St. Michael, their banners hoisted high. Kolbe wondered what would drive these individuals to such a state. The demonic, was his conclusion. The founding of the Militia Immaculata sprouted from that scene in the square. Twenty one years after that Kolbe’s life is laid down, freely and in imitation of Our Lord.
The demonic lost in 1945.
The demonic will loose again. When? I don’t know when, but I know they will.
Different wars, same players.
Winners and losers.
Let’s stay connected and United in this war.
St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for our Holy Catholic Church.
Thanks Philip. Good reminder. I have no doubt at all Satan will loose in the end. Praying for our good Pope. Thank God for him.
They were invited. They were officially added to the list (Vatican website) of pilgrimage groups when Francis was alive, briefly removed when people complained, then added back onto the list a week or so later. They were / are officially approved to attend.
BTW, there still has been no response, offically or otherwise, from Vatican Authorities on the sacrilege.
“Dioceses, parishes, Catholic organizations and prayer groups who register and reserve a time to make a pilgrimage during the Jubilee 2025 are listed on the “general calendar” of the Vatican’s official jubilee website.
The website, http://www.iubilaeum2025.va, indicates whether the pilgrimage is officially sponsored by the Vatican as part of the Jubilee.
In the case of the Catholic LGBTQ group “La Tenda di Gionata” (“Jonathan’s Tent”), the reservation for Sept. 6 at 3 p.m. was listed simply as a “pilgrimage” and not as “sponsored.”
But it disappeared from the calendar Dec. 13 after the group invited “all associations and groups dedicated to supporting LGBT+ individuals and their families to join us.”
Pope Leo did not invite them. Nor did he preside over their Mass, nor did he welcome them into the threshold. They held their “pilgrimage”. Pope Leo did not hold an audience with the group (except for that James Martin which admittedly is unfortunate). So hopefully Martin will take a break from his attention seeking antics for a while..until a good Bishop can finally come forward who has the guts to de-frock him.
I appreciate your position, Ezabelle, but if the Pope had wanted to show the world he supports the true teaching of the Church, he could and should have stopped that event from happening. I am still hopeful that he is playing a long game to back away from this alphabet nonsense with the least possible disruption, but the continued silence, the receiving of Martin for an official audience, and the growing number of simply awful episcopal appointments all point in the opposite direction. I hope and pray that you are right and I am wrong. But at this point, the evidence that Leo XIV wants to be Francis II with silk and smiles is becoming stronger every day. 😕
“How is that an official invite from the Vatican implicating the Pope. Get a grip. Stop manipulating the facts to hate on the Pope because it excites you“
I never said it did, I just stated that they didn’t “storm their way in”. They were invited. A bishop was with them. He said a Mass. I didn’t mention the Pope at all.
This is nothing short of calumny and you should be ashamed. I won’t hold my breath waiting for that apology, but you might want to pray about your online presence.
https://www.catholicleague has much to say.
The link was incomplete. Here it is in full. Mr. Donahue, the Catholic League CEO, has a less pessimistic view than mine. Again, I hope he’s right. But IF Leo XIV is playing a long game, he may be too clever by half, as the Brits used to say when they were still English.

Thanks Frank:
I saved the Catholic League response.
CAG there you go again with your “they were invited”. No they were NOT invited. They were added to the jubilee list of pilgrims does not translate to what you are trying to imply.
There is no calumny. You have made your position clear about Pope Leo previously in your comments. That’s YOUR position. And the next time you make them, I’ll remind you of YOUR position.
There is no way on this planet you will ever get an apology from me with the way you interact with me. I’m not your doormat so you can feel good.
Whoever corrects the arrogant earns insults;
and whoever reproves the wicked incurs opprobrium.
Do not reprove the arrogant, lest they hate you;
reprove the wise, and they will love you.
Instruct the wise, and they become still wiser;
teach the just, and they advance in learning.
