First off, the US had almost $10m worth of IUDs and hormone implants sitting in Belgium. Part of US AID. They’re going to be destroyed.
One of the folks very upset they didn’t get given them is a group called MSI Reproductive Choices.
Now here’s the really good news, from that link at the start:

In Mali, Shaw said, USAID helped pay for the gas used by the vehicles that transport contraceptives from a warehouse. Without the gas money, the vehicles were stuck – and so were the contraceptives.
Besides this, in addition to being upset they could be given or buy the contraceptives at a discount, MSI is likely not even eligible to buy them at full price, because they are abortion providers and promoters, which would violate US law. Depends on what straw companies they have set up.

We now have a dog and laying hens (over two dozen, devil if I can tell with some of the hatched-out chicks if they’re roosters or not…Gandalf and Steve looks like they’re beautiful white and red roosters, but are usually in the nests with eggs, so he can’t tell, either) in addition to two of the kids being teens.
Teens eat up time! Been there done that!

Now that’s typical: In all that rant about the dangers women will face from possible unexpected pregnancy, …they never once mention chastity. ..Nor do they even hint at self defense. ..People might be surprised by how effective a deterrent a small knife and training to use it can be.
No, they must always always assume that women must be lustful, or else the “innocent” victims of predatory men. *sigh*
As for Colbert, …I haven’t watched much late night since Leno retired.
Lack of interest was doomed to catch up with them sooner or later.
