How much of Leftism comes down to spoiled brat syndrome?

All of it, at least in the USA.
Nowadays it seem to be a symbiosis between the spoiled brat culture, the harridan culture, and the malevolent schemer culture. I’m trying to think of what constructive ideas have emerged from the leftoid nexus (or are at least congenially regarded there) in a generation. The only ones which come to mind are ’15 minute cities’ and ranked-choice voting. Everything else is a scheme to entrench leftist politicians, to distribute patronage to their constituency, to injure someone on their list of social enemies, or to promote some clerisy. (Barack Obama is a cipher for the most part; one signature of his is that he’s a spiteful man and fits right in with the whole mentality).
At Neutrons ‘R Us we’ve got a virulent case of spoiled brat syndrome. I was hired there 11 years ago. At the same time a girl graduate nuclear engineer from local university was hired as intern into the nuclear fuels division. She’s now an entitled senior manager of that group. She was bragging to me about her her years of experience with core monitoring computers. I was installing those computers when she was in high school. And I was doing core fuel calculations on a slide rule before she was born. I got no time for these entitled spoiled brats.

Women who are more often than not promoted to management, in part because the company wants to look diverse and in part because women don’t want to slug it out in engineering for 40 years, will continually remind everyone that they’re engineers.
That’s questionable.

Sorry but.. when 10% of engineers are women, but 50% of managers are women and that half feel the need to constantly remind everyone their engineers -there’s something funny going on.
