Cardinal Raymond Burke for me, but I would rather have a slightly younger conservitive Cardinal be Pope. Again…May God prevail in the selection.

Interesting. I matched equally with Nurke, Muller, and Sarah – differing on the possibility of divoece and priestly celinacy, both of which are relatively minor issues to me, and which might be expected from a stidgy conservative Anglican with one foot in an Eastern Catholic (i.e.priestly celubcy optional) church. I just want tto be able to go back to using the phrase, “Is the pope Catholic?”

You match with Antonio Cañizares Llovera, a Very conservative cardinal

A “very conservative cardinal”- like it was a warning!
Like “You match with bacon, a high fat, high sodium food.” 🤣

Very little chance for “my” cardinal, 79 and in poor health. Then again, I’m also the guy scanning the betting card for the 22-1 shot at the Derby!

I got Card Burke. There was a question about reforms that I figure my answer depends on who is defining “reform.”

I took it twice (different emails) and got Cardinal Burke each time…My personal favorite is Cardinal Sarah.

RE the questions…. OW!
It came up with Card Burke, with Cards Sarah and Muller as possible alternates. Makes sense. Those three have been the most coherent and vigorously faithful to the Church’s teaching and practice.

I’m the same as yours Optimist. That actually surprised me but Ratzinger II wouldn’t be bad.

If only Bishop Athanasius Schneider were a Cardinal!–I hope I would get matched with his theology and ecclesiology and ideology, all of which I admire very much.
