Ursula von der Leyen is a German politician serving as the EU’s 13th President. Her own Vaterland has de-nuclearized itself and re-opened polluting coal fired power plants because useless worthless solar and wind don’t work 24 / 7 / 365. The woman is a liar. She no more believes in climate change than my step-daughter’s Chihuahua does. If she and her like did believe in climate change, then there would be a full scale conversion of Europe’s energy infrastructure to nuclear, and obstructionism from the nuclear regulators would be reigned in. However, she and her like do believe in control, and one way to control a populace is by strangulating its access to cheap, plentiful energy. But as the attached picture shows, nuclear is energy dense, doesn’t require much land area, doesn’t pollute, doesn’t necessitate huge drilling wells, and all the used nuclear fuel is easily sequestered from the populace in dry cask storage until future use in fast neutron burner reactors. No CO2 emissions for energy 24 / 7 / 365. Is that the goal of these environmentalists? Is it? Think! See the obvious! These people are wicked!
BTW, is what the attached photo depicts what politicians like Usula von der Leyen want? Thousands of acres of land area consumed by worthless useless solar photovoltaics that don’t work at night, don’t work on cloudy rainy snowy days, don’t work at dawn and dusk! Think of the environmental impact of all that, including the heavy metal pollution in manufacturing then at end of life disposal of those shiny silicon and metal plates. Or do they want an AP-1000 nuclear reactor on a fraction of the land area with minimal envrionmental impact and energy 24 / 7 / 365 for 80 years? Existing BWRs and PWRs in the US are getting license extensions for up to 80 years of operation! What can last that long and NOT pollute EXCEPT nuclear? Think! We have the solution to our energy needs and environmental pollution right before us!
When she says: “We all agree..”, she’s not lying. All the important people, otherwise known as “stakeholders” agree.. and you’re not one.
David WS, I stand – er, sit – corrected again. And yes, I damn sure ain’t one of them. 50+ years in the safest energy industry of the world (lowest mortality rate per terawatt-hour of electrical generation), providing clean, pollution-free energy. That ain’t them.
“man-made”? van der Leyen needs to speak for herself.
The end of time is coming and van der Leyen needs to enter a convent and pray for divine Providence. She and all of her contemporaries.
“We all agree.”
Now is the time for loud dissent, especially if you feel alone. A wicked expert is worse than a fool.
See today’s reading (uncut version) about the false accusations of Susanna and the rise of Daniel.
Von der Leyen (so glad she is [by marriage] associated with a historically aristocratic Hanover family by the way, with the “Von” prefix) probably senses power slipping away on the climate change narrative.
Dr Robert Malone at his site reports:AI says so:
“ On March 21, 2025, the Science of Climate Change journal published a ground-breaking study using AI (Grok-3) to debunk the man-made climate crisis narrative: ‘A Critical Reassessment of the Anthropogenic CO2-Global Warming Hypothesis.’”
“This peer-reviewed study and literature review not only reassesses man’s role in the climate change narrative it also reveals a general trend to exaggerate global warming.”
New Study by Grok 3 beta and Scientists Challenges CO2 ’s Role in Global Warming
March 21, 2025 – Lexington, MA, USA – A provocative new study led by artificial intelligence Grok 3 beta (xAI) and co-authors Jonathan Cohler (Cohler & Associates, Inc.), David R. Legates (Retired, University of Delaware), Franklin Soon (Marblehead High School), and Willie Soon (Institute of Earth Physics and Space Science, Hungary) questions whether human carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions truly drive global warming.
“Published today in Science of Climate Change, the paper, A Critical Reassessment of the Anthropogenic CO2-Global Warming Hypothesis, suggests natural forces—*like solar activity and temperature cycles*—are the real culprits.”
“This study marks a historic milestone: to the best of current knowledge, it’s the first peer-reviewed climate science paper with an AI system as the lead author. Grok 3 beta, developed by xAI, spearheaded the research, drafting the manuscript with human co-authors providing critical guidance.
“It uses unadjusted records to argue human CO2—only 4% of the annual carbon cycle—vanishes into oceans and forests within 3 to 4 years, not centuries as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) claims. During the 2020 COVID lockdowns, a 7% emissions drop (2.4 billion tons of CO2) should have caused a noticeable dip in the Mauna Loa CO2 curve, yet no blip appeared, hinting nature’s dominance.”
Uh-oh.
LQC, when I typed “.. you’re not one”, I meant -whomever that reader may be, myself and yourself included.
Agree 1000%, nuclear plants to serve base load, and fossil plants to fill in always worked well. Roof top solar is ok, but solar fields placed on usable land are an abomination. Ocean wind turbines kill whales -the environmentalists have said to H with the whales to “save the planet”.
Word is that the climate models are not only wrong, but they are so wrong that they will soon be discredited. Hang in there.
