De mortuis nil nisi bonum, so that is all I will say, at least for today.
“Uncle Ted” is Dead
- Donald R. McClarey
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Uncle Ted is finally getting his trial in a Court where all the evidence will come out, where legal maneuvering is absent and before a Judge who will make the perfect decision, without fear or favor.
Had several interesting and borderline weird encounters with him as the Abp. of Washington. All I can say is I’ll pray for his soul.
Ora pro me as I am for him. Guy, Texas
Poor uncle ted is dead. Poor uncle ted is dead. What a waste.
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9:27.
A certain Marxist Peronist Caudillo may be next.
chazaq
In Deuteronomy 22:25, the word chazaq is translated “rapes.”
God’s mercy is boundless, however this action by a ordained minister is worse than scandalous, imo. As said above, the Judge will decide.
Prayers for his soul and for the needs of his victims.
The world is a better place without him.
Likely, he is already experiencing eternal Divine Justice
I don’t know why but I always felt a strong calling to pray for him. It’s weird; his story isn’t exactly the kind that brings out compassion in me.
