The Just Judge will take care of this and make sure that there is justice. How sad it is that these women may have to wait to see it.

In order to rid the Church of perverts like Rupnick, the Inquisitions will have to be brought back in full power. And the Pope who will do this have to bring in people from the outside who have experience in law enforcement and criminology to aid him. And there must be total honesty with the members of the Church and the general public if credibility is to be restored to our reputation.

Stephen E. Dalton:
The Miraculous Medal shows Mary in a frame that is her personal space. Anyone breeching Mary’s personal space is committing the crime of assault. Anyone touching Mary without her permission commits the crime of battery. Assault and battery is a prosecutable crime.
Souls coming into the Sacrament of Penance are intending to be forgiven by Christ. The priest ” in persona Christi” forgives their sins.
The corporal and spiritual works of mercy come into play…to correct the sinner, to counsel the doubtful; all of which Rupnik violated including assault and battery and physical rape. Too many rapists think that they are doing their victims, sovereign persons, a favor by their wonderful self.
Eternal punishment is hell. Temporal punishment is here and now on earth.
Pope Francis reinstated Rupnik after Rupnik was excommunicated; Rupnik and McCarrick and the hosts of hell. Self-defense has become a dirty word.

Francis issued a deeply stupid apology for the supposed century-old mass graves of children ‘discovered’ on the grounds of Church-run schools in Canada. He apologized on behalf of the entire Church for crimes that, it turns out, never happened.

I can’t help but think that one reason he behaved the way he did was because those Residential Schools in Canada embodied the sort of Church Francis wants to stamp out: proselytizing, sure in its morality, tradition-loving. He lent credibility to the defamation of an entire generation of Catholic religious without any real evidence— mostly because they were the ‘wrong sort’ of Catholics.

And yet he protected and promoted a grotesque abuser despite a growing mountain of evidence of his guilt— and it appears he did so because Rupnik is the sort of cleric Francis likes. Francis’ cynical amorality is jaw-dropping.

“What a despicable pontificate this is”. As usual, Damian Thompson sums it up neatly. God help us all.

Reality distorted. Victim bashing. If you were not born you could not be raped…murdered…it is all your fault. Rupnick probably blamed his rape victims for seducing him. Thirty year old abusive priests claimed that they were seduced by 14 year old children. Narcissists always play the victim.
Did Rupnick actually give absolution to the nuns he raped?
