LONDON — In a touching moment, a local imam in the heart of London started off the Jumu’ah prayer service with a land acknowledgment of the indigenous Britons who once inhabited the Muslim territory now known as “London.”
According to several in attendance at the service, Imam Kahlife Kakhir spent a short moment at the beginning of his prayer to recognize and remember the former inhabitants of the land which had been appropriated to build the mosque.
“I was actually quite startled, as I had never seen an imam this liberal,” said Ali Salman, who arrived in London from Palestine a few years ago. “I don’t think that we Muslims need to be holding up and honoring the culture that we’ve rightfully taken over. We have no reason to be grateful for the land conquered for Allah.”
Other attendees at the service were more positive about the land acknowledgement, however.
“I just love learning about ancient history,” said Soheil Aliyaa, a 14-year-old Muslim boy. “The idea of Britons living in England is so hard to imagine. It’s really an eye-opener learning about dead cultures.”

Once again, as is so often the case lately, The Bee’s satire is nearly indistinguishable from reality.
Actually the original inhabitants of London were the Iceni. They were conquered by a pagan Rome and almost completely decimated. The Muslims in London presently are mostly an offshoot of Britain’s colonial policy. Some might view it as an ironic form of justice.
I feel like this is what MUST happen after 500 years of anti-Catholic England, which began with its murderous, adulterous king demanding control of God’s Church; and then, with the help of his faithless and avaricious nobility, pillaging and destroying hundreds upon hundreds of monasteries (worse than the worst barbarians!); and add to that, the Protestant English persecuting the remnant Catholics for generations afterwards, in all manner of horrendous ways. The Lord in His mercy still gave to that England Cardinal Newman, G.K. Chesterton, and other bright lights…but this type of thing that we are seeing in our times with Mohammedanism is exactly what I expect for a country that has treated Our Lord’s Bride in the way that it has.
The problem is you can’t say these things. You are labelled phobic. Yet I believe few are expressing what many people are thinking but too afraid of being cancelled or intimated.
In my neck of the woods, recently there have been Night Markets during Ramadan set up in one council jurisdiction which has a large Muslim population. And this year the council has decided to reduce the operating hours of these markets because of “noise complaints”. Yeah right, you don’t hear of reduced operating hours of Christmas markets because of “noise complaints”. Local businesses love the trade it brings in. I believe local non-Muslim residents don’t want the riffraff it brings to the area and the “noise complaints” is just an excuse.
I think many Brits also don’t want the mass immigration of people who don’t hold western values but are too afraid to say anything. So they let the minority take over. That and also Britains last 100 governments in the past 10 years have been weak and incompetent and polite.
